Refund and Returns Policy

At Isabella Niehaus, we take immense pride in our books, culinary creations, and events. In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), our refund policy is set out below:

1. Physical Products (Cookbooks)

• Damaged / Defective Items: If your item arrives damaged or with a defect, notify us within 7 days of delivery at bellaniehaus24@gmail.com with a photo of the item. We will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you.
• Unwanted Items / Returns: You may return unused, unread items in their original condition and packaging within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or refund. Return courier fees are for the customer’s account.
• Refund Processing: Approved refunds are credited back to the original card used for payment via Yoco within 5–10 business days.

2. Events, Dining & Workshop Bookings
   Because seating is strictly limited and fresh ingredients are procured for each event:

• Cancellations 14 days or more before the event: 100% refund or transfer to a future date.
• Cancellations 7–13 days before the event: 50% refund.
• Cancellations less than 7 days before the event: Non-refundable (tickets may be transferred to a nominated guest upon notifying us).
• Cancellation by us: In the rare case an event is cancelled by us, you will receive an immediate 100% refund or rescheduled booking.

3. Digital Downloads & Gift Vouchers
   Digital downloads and gift vouchers are non-refundable once issued.
